Industrial turnover rose by 20.7 per cent in March, according to new statistics. The biggest increase was in electrical machinery and apparatus, with turnover up 63.5 per cent. The largest fall was in meat and meat products, with turnover down by 14 per cent, due to foot-and-mouth.
