The High Court has lifted a mareva injunction granted against a Co Donegal group of timber companies and their directors. Mr Daithi Mac Carthaigh, counsel for Udaras na Gaeltachta, told Mr Justice Nicholas Kearns that his client was willing to accept specific personal undertakings from Mr Gregory and Ms Pauline Taylor on behalf of the companies with which they were associated. Mr Mac Carthaigh said Udaras na Gaeltachta was attempting to recover just over £240,000 (€304,737) which it had forwarded in grants to Donegal Timber Products and had obtained a mareva injunction against the Taylors and the company from reducing their assets below that figure.
