EAGLE Star has introduced a new serious illness policy which will be the only policy in that market offering cover for Creutzfeldt Jacob Disease (CJD), widely seen as the human equivalent of mad cow disease. Eagle Star general manager for marketing, Mr John Caslin said the company had redesigned its serious illness cover to make policies flexible enough to include further new illness and benefits in the future.
