Livestock dealers are increasingly taking to the Web for online sales of cattle, according to a report in the New York Times. Cattle Offerings Worldwide, or COW, (www.cattleofferings.com) is one of around 1,000 cattleoriented websites and runs a listing and auction service for the beef and dairy business. According to the report, COW's founder and president, Mr Ben Zaitz, says about $300,000 worth of cattle, embryos and bull semen have been traded since the service started last year.
