Irish technology companies are better positioned to go global more quickly compared to their European counterparts according to a PricewaterhouseCoopers study published yesterday.
The survey revealed that Irish technology companies expect 64 per cent of turnover this year to be from Internet and e-business activity. Irish technology companies have an average growth of nearly 50 per cent compared to the European average of 34.5 per cent. This is 30 per cent up from last year's average.
The study also revealed that the time taken to develop new products in Ireland is just under a year compared to the European average of 1.4 years.
