Shareholders of telecoms group ITG voted yesterday to change its name to Alphyra although its Irish voice and data division will continue to trade under the original name.

At an a.g.m. and e.g.m. shareholders sanctioned an issue of 18.75 million ordinary shares in a placing which last month raised about €36.2 million (£28.5 million).
