TeleCommunications, the US's largest cable television operator, said yesterday it would cut 2,500 employees, or nearly 7 per cent of its work force, as it seeks to lower costs and reduce debt.
The Englewood, Colorado based company said it would review all expenses not directly related to serving customers.
The company said the layoffs, which will come from corporate headquarters and field offices, will amount to 2,500 managers and employees.
