Jurys Doyle chief executive Mr Pat McCann earned just shy of €400,000 in the year to April 2001, the group's annual report has revealed. Mr McCann's basic salary of €234,000 was supplemented by a performance-related bonus worth €63,000 and pension benefits of €93,000. A further €9,000 was to be added in "other benefits".
The next highest Jurys Doyle earner was outgoing finance director Mr Barry Sheehan, who was awarded a total salary of €271,000, with Mr Niall Geoghegan, executive director, following at €230,000. Total director remuneration for the year to April in Jurys Doyle amounted to €1,271,000, down 23 per cent on the previous year.
