Jurys Doyle Hotel Group announced details yesterday of a corporate branding plan which will result in name changes for a number of former Doyle hotels, writes Jamie Smyth. But the overall group name will remain unchanged.

In Dublin, the Tara, Skylon, Montrose and Green Isle will all come under the Jurys brand. Overseas, the Clifton-Ford hotel in London, the Doyle Normandy and the Doyle Normandy Inn in Washington, will also take on the Jurys name.

The group is set to unveil an Internet strategy at the end of the month, which will enable customers to book rooms online. It is also considering introducing technology-related products such as DVD, Internet access and even playstations in rooms.
