The Hotels
Christy's Hotel is within the old mill complex in Blarney, Co. Cork, and has 50 en-suite bedrooms. The firm holds a major shareholding in the Blarney Park Hotel in Blarney, which is a 70-bed Grade A hotel.
The Shops
There are Blarney Woollen Mills stores in Blarney, Nassau Street, Dublin, Killarney, Kilkenny and Cobh. The company also owns the Kilkenny Shop in Nassau Street, Dublin, and a store at the Icon centre in Leopardstown.
Club Tricot is the Kelleher's Irish menswear range, which has a Grafton Street store and a concession shop within the Blarney Woollen Mills store in Blarney. The marketing manager of the former Blarney Woollen Mills, Mr Kevin Kelleher, is closely associated with Club Tricot's success. The firm is the official clothing supplier to the Irish Rubgy Football Union.
The Sweater Company's sole outlet is in Killarney but avoids competing with the Blarney Woollen Mills store in the town by focusing on Irish knitwear.
The Knitwear
Blarney Castle Knitwear Ltd produces and markets several brands for the domestic and export markets, including Blarney Castle Knitwear, Tricot Marine and Club Tricot. It is based in a converted mill building in Blarney.
Donegal Bay Ltd is based at Kilcar, Co Donegal, and is a heavy gauge looming facility which produces brand name knitwear such as Kilkenny, Blarney, the Sweater Company, and Fisherman Out of Ireland.
The Mail Order Firm
A lucrative part of the business, which targets the north American market in particular. Exports a traditional range of goods including crystal, china, clothing and jewellery.
