Jefferson Smurfit Group's former chief operations officer, Mr Howard Kilroy (right), has realised almost £470,000 (597,000) after selling Smurfit shares. Mr Kilroy sold 200,000 shares last Thursday at €2.98 (£2.35) each, to realise €586,000. Following the sale, Mr Kilroy now owns 8.4 million Smurfit shares, worth €25 million at the current market price.
