Former Dublin Gaelic footballer and Manchester United and Ireland soccer star Mr Kevin Moran will become a multimillionaire when the sports management company in which he is a partner floats on London's Alternative Investment Market later this month.

Mr Moran and the other three executive directors of Proactive Sports Management - former Manchester United winger Mr Jesper Olsen, former Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Mr Soren Lerby and Proactive's chief executive Mr Paul Stretford - will share £8 million sterling when they sell part of their shareholdings at the flotation. Mr Moran, who is Proactive's finance director, will have a 9 per cent stake in the group following the flotation and this is worth £2.26 million sterling at the flotation price of 25p sterling. Mr Stretford and Mr Olsen will also have 9 per cent stakes while Mr Lerby will have 5.3 per cent.

Former Celtic and Liverpool football star and manager Mr Kenny Dalglish, who acts as a consultant to Proactive, will have a 3.7 per cent stake after the flotation worth almost £1 million sterling. Another former Liverpool footballer, Mr Ian Rush, also works as a consultant to Proactive but, if he holds a stake in the company, it is below the 3 per cent disclosure threshold.

Proactive had a turnover of £4.5 million sterling last year and made profits of £1.2 million sterling.
