PACKAGING and plastics group Low & Bonar yesterday announced it had wrapped up a £9 million pre-Christmas deal. The company is buying Rub icon Packaging in a move it said would strengthen its presence in the British folding carton market and which would enhance earnings.
Rub icon, based near Loughborough, Leics, made a pre-tax profit of £1.4 million on sales of £12.5 million for the year to December 31st, 1995.
