The design company, Images Photographic, has been taken over by one of Northern Ireland's biggest public relations companies, the Holywood firm Burnside Citigate, which is part of the international communications company, Citigate Group.

Images Photographic, which was set up eight years ago by Mr Paul Hamilton, will continue to trade from its Portadown offices, which will now include a full public relations service. Mr Hamilton said the merger would increase the services available to his clients.

In addition to corporate identity and brochure design, the company would now offer magazine design, multi-media, exhibition design, CD-ROM production, and public relations.
