Prices paid for goods leaving Irish factories increased 0.8 per cent in November, according to data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO).

On an annual basis, manufacturing prices showed an increase of 2.7 per cent in the month of November compared to a rise of 2.9 per cent in October.

In November, the price index for export sales rose 0.8 per cent, while the index for home sales fell by 0.6 per cent.

The most significant price changes recorded last month were in computer and electronic products, which were up 1.1 per cent, and in food products including bread and confectionary, which were up 0.9 per cent.

Over the year, there was an increase of 9.3 per cent in the price of computer, electronic and optical products, while the price of dairy products decreased by 6,2 per cent.
