The Minister for Finance has ruled out the need to establish further structures to implement the National Development Plan (NDP). Responding to the Dublin Chamber of Commerce about the effectiveness of the current statutory agencies to deliver the plan, Mr McCreevy, said the current framework was adequate.

Mr McCreevy said at the chamber's annual dinner last night that the Government fully recognised the timely delivery of the plan was essential to the continuation of sustainable economic growth and competitiveness.
