Almost 300 jobs will be created at Bangor, Co Down, when the MM Group of Bristol invests £4 million sterling (€6.7 million) to expand its e-commerce centre. The group's Northern Ireland subsidiary employs about 130 people in Bangor, and a further 295 jobs will become available in the next three years. The Northern Ireland Minister of Enterprise, Trade and Investment, Sir Reg Empey, said this was the third investment in the North's network services centre in three months. He added that the firm would develop the two centres and provide clients with broader-based and integrated services that included telephone, fax, e-mail and the Internet.
