ICS Building Society has been voted the best residential mortgage provider by the Independent Mortgage Advisers Federation (IMAF) for the second year in a row. The award was given in recognition of the ICS's "outstanding achievements and service to the broker market in Ireland".

The IMAF measured 12 other financial institutions before awarding the IMAF Service Excellence Award 2000 for the Residential Lending Sector to ICS. Results were compiled from a survey of 120 mortgage brokers estimated to control about 70 per cent of the mortgage broker business.

The survey covered more than 34 service areas, from loan application, to arrears policy to value for money for the client. The survey also featured areas such as most improved service, most innovative marketing and best broker support.
