Start-up application services company, Twelve Horses (www.twelvehorses.com), in which technology entrepreneur Mr Denis O'Brien holds a stake, launched its MessageMaker product on the Irish market yesterday. Twelve Horses, which recently completed a $6 million second round fund-raising through Goodbody Stockbrokers, has developed technology which hosts electronic print services and customised literature for large corporations. Users access a "virtual" warehouse of company literature and send it to their contacts, electronically or in hard copy version.
The company was founded in mid-1999 and raised initial funding of $4 million before Christmas. It employs around 60 people split evenly between its Dublin and Salt Lake City offices.
