Bank of Ireland has introduced a seven-day notice deposit account to help small to medium-sized business make the most of working capital. The so-called Business Xtra account is open to investments of £25,000 to £500,000. It offers an interest rate of 4.5 per cent on deposits up to £250,000 and 5 per cent from £250,000 to £500,000.
