AER Lingus has launched a new European business service Premier Europe. It involves a total re-vamp of the on board product with more cabin space, new wider luxury seats, a new in flight service. It came into operation yesterday on the Dublin to Heathrow route.
Business traffic has shown strong growth in the first quarter of the year, according to Aer Lingus, with passenger increases of over 30 per cent between Ireland and continental Europe and 11 per cent on the Ireland/Britain routes. The decision to upgrade the service to Europe follows a successful upgrading of the premier transatlantic service in March.
