The Bray and District Chamber of Commerce, has appointed Mr Tom Fitzgerald as its new chief executive. He succeeds Mr Des Simmons, who has been a part-time director for the last decade.
Mr Fitzgerald joins the Chamber from Acco Europe, the producers of office and stationery products, where he was director and general manager (manufacturing).
Mr Irial Finan has joined the board of Marlborough International as a non-executive director. Mr Finan is joint managing director of Hellenic Bottling Company, a company registered in Greece whose main business activities are Coca Cola bottling franchises. Mr Finan is also chairman of John Daly & Co, which trades as Coca Cola Bottlers Ireland.
McCann Fitzgerald, has appointed two new partners, Ms Ju- dith Lawless and Mr Jim Murphy, to the firm. Ms Lawless has experience in banking and financial services, while Mr Murphy specialises in property development projects.
Mr Kevin Dempsey has been appointed to ICC Bank's corporate banking team as a portfolio manager. He previously worked in the BES division and in corporate finance.
Ms Denise Reid has become manager with Prospectus Strategy Consultants. Ms Reid, who has been with the company since 1997, previously worked with KPMG in Belfast.
J Walter Thompson Communications, has appointed Ms Eavan Breslin as an account executive.
Food Brokers Distribution has appointed Dr Patrick J. Loughrey as chairman of the board. Dr Loughrey is chairman of Cuisine de France and Batchelors. Food Brokers is one of the Republic's largest producers of pre-packed sandwiches.
Ms Eilis Dunning has been appointed marketing executive with CGU Life. Ms Dunning has six years in the financial services sector and holds a diploma in marketing.
Ms Gillian Kelly has joined RHM as brand manager after previously working with Corporate Image and Watermarque.
Mr David O'Brien and Ms Carol Flynn have joined the board of McConnells Marketing Communications, a company within the McConnell Group.
Mr O'Brien, who worked on the launch of Britain's National Lottery, has been appointed director of public relations. Ms Flynn, a former journalist with the Irish Press Group, is promoted to the position of deputy head of public relations.
