Royal & Sun Alliance has introduced a new home insurance product called Safehome, which offers home and contents insurance plus add-on benefits.

The buildings and contents insurance includes cover for accidental damage as well as the normal specified risks covered by household policies. There is also automatic cover for personal possessions taken outside the home and for fire brigade charges and jury service. The product also offers increased cover for contents at Christmas and before and after a wedding.
