Mr Gary Owens has been appointed managing director of Hibernian Insurance Company and as executive director of Hibernian Group. Mr Owens takes over from Mr Eddie Shaw on December 10th, following Mr Shaw's retirement.

Mr Owens joined Hibernian Life as sales director in 1994 and was appointed general manager of Hibernian Insurance Company in January 1998.
