Motorists acquiring a Nissan Primera (excluding 2-litre petrol models) are being offered use of a new comprehensively insured Nissan Micra for free for one year. This has the undoubted attraction of bringing an additional car into the household.

The Micra supermini European Car of the Year in 1993 is economical and nippy and could just be the answer to those rows over the family car. Alternatively, a year's free insurance to drivers over 30 or road tax is offered on the three models.

The Primera/Micra offer is particularly attractive to executives who can choose a company car. Nissan says the uptake has been in the hundreds. The offer continues until January 31st.
