The Minister for Public Enterprise, Mrs O'Rourke, has stressed the Government's commitment to supporting Ireland's growing technology sector. Speaking at a conference organised by NCB stockbrokers for technology sector companies in Dublin yesterday, she said the Government would be working to create an environment to ensure their continued success and encourage others to follow. The Minister said her department would be particularly focusing on developing competition in the communications sector in a bid to offer technology companies more competitive rates.
