Parthus Technologies has signed a licensing deal with SigmaTel, an American provider of system-level, mixed signal integrated circuit solutions.

SigmaTel has licensed Parthus MediaStream platform to power its next generation audio decoder microchip, to be used in portable audio and home entertainment applications, including MP3-style players.
