Pension fund investment in Ireland is now worth £16 billion and could double over the next 10 years, the chairman of the Irish Association of Pension Funds, Dr Brian Aylward stated.

Speaking at the IAPF annual dinner last night, Dr Aylward said that the association was working with the Government and the Irish Association of Investment Managers to examine broader investment opportunities for pensions funds in Ireland.
