Mirador Software, which specialises in middleware banking, has appointed Ms Niamh Fitzpatrick as head of research and development. She previously worked with Allied Irish Banks in research and development, specialising in the area of middleware technologies.

PepsiCo International has appointed Ms Rhona Holland as marketing manager for Pepsi and 7UP in Ireland, and Mr Garrett Quigley as customer development for 7UP and Pepsi operations in Ireland.

StepStone, the online career portal, has appointed Ms Una McGurk as marketing director in Ireland. Prior to her appointment, she was brand manager for Coca Cola in Ireland. She previously worked with Johnson & Johnson and Rank Xerox. Mr Michael Brady has been appointed team manager, key accounts, and Mr David Murphy has been appointed team manager, technical services at the Automobile Association.

The Irish Stock Exchange has appointed Ms Deirdre Somers, director of listings, with responsibility for all of the Exchange's listings business. A Chartered accountant, she has been in charge of company listing and listing policy in the Exchange since 1995.
