Shannon Aerospace has appointed Mr Tom Caffrey as its new head of production. He succeeds Mr Martin Kalser who was recently appointed the company's managing director. Mr Caffrey joined Shannon Aerospace in 1992 having previously served with the Air Corps.
Mr Frank O'Connell has been appointed assistant chief executive at Aer Rianta with responsibility for retailing strategy at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports. He will also continue to have responsibility for the commercial development of Dusseldorf airport.
Mr O'Connell, who previously held the position of group commercial manager, is currently chairman of the International Duty Free Confederation and is co-author of the book European Airport Retailing, Growth Strategies for the next millennium.
Ms Jessica Fuller has been appointed manager of the IRMA Trust where she will have overall responsibility for managing and co-ordinating projects. The trust was established by the indigenous record industry to support the development of music in the Republic. Ms Fuller was previously national arts officer with Macra na Feirme and has edited two county arts directories. She is also a staff member at Newpark Music Centre.
Ms Leonie Stevenson has been appointed account director with the public relations agency, Gibney Communications. She works on corporate and financial accounts and specialises in the technology sector.
Mr Larry Banville has been appointed general manager with Datapac Enniscorthy. His new role is in addition to his position as financial controller for the Datapac group of companies. He previously held financial and accounting positions with Waterford Foods and J Donohue Group.
Comparex Ireland has announced three new appointments to the company: Mr Shane Green becomes pre sales engineer, working within the advanced technology group; Mr Larry Skinner becomes post sales engineer; while Mr Conrad Kavanagh becomes business development manager.
Ms Patricia O'Sullivan has been appointed accounting, administration and secretarial consultant at recruitment company, NRC's Dublin branch.
