Tennents Ireland has expanded its sales team with the appointment of two new sales managers. Mr Philip Cusack has been appointed regional sales manager for the eastern region. Mr Joe Manning has taken up the position of regional sales manager for the northern region.
NewWorld Commerce, the emarketing company, has made a number of new appointments in its Dublin headquarters. Ms Su- zanne Brennan has been appointed Irish field marketing manager for Ireland. Mr Michael Gannon has been appointed commercial director with responsibility for the finance function of NewWorld Commerce. Ms Cathy Carey has been appointed e-marketing consultant in the services team.
Mr Mark Henry has joined Webfactory as the company's strategic development manager.
Mr Henry has joined Webfactory from Ebeon, where he was head of research and planning.
Recruitment consultancy The Collins McNicolas Group has hired two new senior consultants for its specialist IT recruitment division in its Dublin office. They are Mr Sean Gannon, who holds a BA with distinction in business administration from the University of Westminster, and Mr John Coleman, who has worked in the IT recruitment sector for more than four years. Mr Eoin Gilley has been appointed chief operating officer at Parthus Technologies with responsibility for worldwide operations. Mr Gilley joins Parthus from Artesyn, where he was managing director for its European operations. He replaces Mr Kevin Fielding, who has been appointed president of the company.
Dublin-based e-learning company Electric Paper has hired three instructional designers, Ms Deirdre Ryan, Ms Lynda Donovan and Ms Patricia O'Rourke.
Public relations consultancy Bill O'Herlihy Communications has announced two new senior staff appointments. Mr Jimmy Smith has joined the company as account director from GJW Government Relations in London, while Ms Una Carlin has joined as an account director from United Broadcasting and Entertainment.
Mr Martin Heatley has been promoted to the position of sales director of transit and static formats at TDI Northern Ireland, the outdoor advertising contractor.
Advanced Cosmetic Surgery has named Ms Tara O'Connor as marketing manager for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Sales Placement has promoted Ms Bronagh Cotter to the head of its IT division. Ms Cotter has been with the company for almost a year and prior to that has had four years' sales management experience within the technology industry.
Mason, Hayes & Curran has appointed Mr Peter McInnes as partner. Mr McInnes advises on commercial litigation and human resources matters.
Mr Tom Reid has been appointed to the board of Ulster Bank Group Ltd. Currently director of change management at the bank, Mr Reid is also a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, a council member and an examiner for the institute.
The University of Limerick Foundation has appointed Rev Tony Bretherton to the position of executive director. Rev Bretherton joins the University of Limerick from the University of Waikato, New Zealand.
