Worldcom Ireland has appointed Mr Martin Walsh as head of regulatory affairs

Worldcom Ireland has appointed Mr Martin Walsh as head of regulatory affairs. A barrister, Mr Walsh was called to the Irish Bar in 1995. Since then he has worked as a lawyer/lobbyist in Brussels and London, advising on telecommunications, trade and competition issues. He has returned to Ireland to head the WorldCom's regulatory department.

More O'Ferrall, the billboard division of More Group Ireland, the outdoor media group has appointed several staff. Ms Mary O'Connell has been appointed sales manager. She joined the company in 997 as a ales executive. Ms Kate Pile joins the sales team as sales executive from the Dublin Brewing Company.

Mr Cathal Grogan has been appointed e-point product manager at Point Information Systems, where he will be responsible for focusing on Point's next generation CRM products. Founded in 1989, Point is a provider of e-CRM products.

The company has also appointed Ms Caitlin O'Connor as director of global product marketing.

Mr Willie Redmond, a chartered surveyor, has been appointed associate director by Dublin-based international property consultants Ganly Walters. He joined the company last July having previously worked as a valuer with DTZ Sherry FizGerald.

Mr Tony Bourke has been appointed managing director of The Computer Learning Centre (CLC). Mr Bourke's role will be to increase turnover by 100 per cent over the next two years and expand the company's profile in international markets.

Ms Helen Leddy has been appointed area manager, premium financial services at National Irish Bank. She will be responsible for managing a team of executive banking managers across Ireland. She has worked in the financial services sector for 24 years.

Mr Tim McVicker has been appointed grocery sales manager with C&C Northern Ireland. He will be responsible for the management and development of the grocery division. He joins from Bass Ireland where he was regional sales manager.

Myhome.ie has appointed Mr David Hargaden as non-executive chairman of the company. He is managing partner of Hargaden Moor, Chartered accountants and has been involved in advising Myhome.ie since last September.
