Ms Siobhan Moore has been appointed media and PR manager by Aer Rianta

Ms Siobhan Moore has been appointed media and PR manager by Aer Rianta. A graduate of the Public Relations Institute, she has worked for 13 years in the Aer Rianta press and PR department.

Aer Rianta also recently hired Mr Robert Hilliard as director for Dublin airport, where he will be responsible for the operation, management and future development of the airport.

Genesis Marketing Communications recently hired two senior consultants and a project manager. Mr Brian McIntyre joins as a business development director, Ms Joanne Long joins as a senior branding consultant and Ms Cathy McCarthy joins as online market research manager.

Mr James McCarthy has been appointed as the new chief financial officer for Qualtrace Solutions, the Cork-based developer formerly known as Fastnet Technology.

Mr Ray Nulty has been appointed head of business innovation services at IBM Ireland.

Four new partners have been appointed at BDO Simpson Xavier. They are: Mr Alan Flynn, financial services; Mr Ivor Feerick and Mr Dermot O'Brien, VAT services; and Mr Maurice Carr, recruitment.

Dimension Centric has recruited a new business development director. Mr John Doolin joins the company from The National Training & Development Institute.

Mr David Thornhill has been appointed managing director at Xwave solutions, the new Irish operation of Canadian IT company Xwave.

Dynamic Logic, which develops, manufactures and markets a range of water monitoring, data logging and telemety products, has appointed Mr John Keats as its regional sales manager for Ireland.

A number of executive changes have been announced at business process automation software company Staffware. Mr Tim Perks will become chief financial officer from July 1st. Mr Robin Martin has been appointed chief operating officer, while Ms Anne Marie Fallon joins as country manager for Ireland.

French-Canadian Mr Olivier Rochefort has joined the Radisson SAS Hotel as manager of operations.

Merck Sharp & Dohme (Ireland) has appointed Mr John Condon as director of public affairs for the company in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will be replaced as director of human resources by Mr William Madden.

Three new directors have been appointed to the executive board of IBEC. Mr Don O'Hig- gins becomes finance director, Ms Maria Cronin becomes director of strategy and EU affairs with responsibility for IBEC's Brussels office, and Mr Ciaran Fitzgerald becomes director of sectors with overall responsibility for around 50 trade associations operating within the confederation.

Mr Richard O'Sullivan has rejoined the Jurys Doyle Hotel Group as group management accountant, having previously worked for the company for six years in an accounting capacity. Prior to rejoining Jurys Doyle, Mr O'Sullivan acted as financial director for Clontarf Castle Hotel.

Dr Marion Carson has taken up the role of vice-president of business development at FirroGen Europe.

A new assistant project manager has been appointed at Shelbourne Development. Ms Clare Vaughan joins Shelbourne Development from Colliers Jackson-Stops in Dublin.

Two new appointments have been announced at NewWorld Commerce. Ms Fiona Toohey has been appointed as QA manager while Mr David Buckley has been appointed e-commerce consultant.

Stena Line has appointed Mr Gunnar Blomdahl as area director.

Mr Kevin Gallacher has joined Montgomery Oppenheim investment managers as sales and marketing manager.
