ESB's 1.6 million customers will be able to pay their bills at post offices from March 1st next year. The move will double the number of outlets providing ESB bill payment services. Customers will be able to use the additional services free of charge.

The Minister for Public Enterprise, Ms O'Rourke, welcomed the announcement by the ESB saying it was a crucial vote of confidence in the post office network.
