PRE-TAX PROFITS at TV and film editing studio Windmill Lane Pictures fell by 93 per cent to €9,191 last year, new figures show.

The company is involved in the production of TV shows including hit series Love/Hate on RTÉ along with the Oscar-nominated Albert Nobbs.

The abridged accounts show the company sustained the sharp drop in pre-tax profits after its gross profit fell by 13 per cent from €4.2 million to €3.6 million in the 12 months to the end of December last.

The figures show the firm’s pre-tax profits fell from €147,662 to €9,191. The directors’ report states: “Trading conditions were challenging during the year, however, the directors are satisfied with the performance of the company given the difficult economic climate.”
