The National Development Plan needs to implemented fully to remove unfair burdens created by infrastructure requirements, Mr Eugene McGinty, managing director of Connect Business Solutions, said yesterday.

"It is indefensible that a company like our own has to hire private transport to get our people to and from work simply because the transport services are not there," he said.

Mr McGinty was speaking at the official opening of the company's new European headquarters in Blanchardstown.
