Norwich Union shares made their debut on the Irish stock market but failed to make a stir, with just a single deal at 375p. In London, the shares first rose to a high of 338p sterling before settling at 330p sterling, a fall of 4p on the day. Turnover in London was very heavy at over 17 million shares.
