A Record price was paid yesterday for a Dublin bar when the Clonsilla Inn at Clonsilla was sold at auction for £4.4 million by joint agents John Young and EJ Bohan. The purchaser is believed to have been Mr Dermot Bonner of The Bell bar in Castleknock. The business, which has a turnover £38,000 a week, was sold for Guinness Ireland Group which is withdrawing from the retail bar business. It is also to dispose of The Cherry Tree in Walkinstown, Dublin 12, and The Sheaf of Wheat at Coolock.
