Qualceram Shires has announced that Mr Robert Hassell, director responsible for the group's overseas operations has resigned "and will be leaving the group". He will be retained as a consultant on export markets until the end of the year.

Mr John Byrne, sales and marketing director "takes over all responsibilities for Qualceram's activities in the UK and export markets", the group said.
