Business grew healthily at Body Clinics Ireland in 2014, according to results filed with the Companies Office recently.

The beauty treatment firm reported retained profit of almost €700,000 in 2014 compared with just over €414,000 at the end of 2013. Accounts filed showed it almost doubled its staff in the year, from 14 employees in 2013 to 27. But staff costs also increased significantly as a result. Wages and salaries rose from €424,000 in 2013 to more than €1.3 million in 2014.

The business is headed up by directors Phillip McGlade and Katie McGlade, and is linked to Therapie Clinics and City Dental.
