Paddy Power-owner Flutter Entertainment is appointing Amy Howe as interim chief executive of its US division, where she succeeds the departing Matt King.

Dublin-based Flutter announced in May that Mr King was leaving the group.

The company confirmed on Monday that Ms Howe will take over as interim chief executive of the division, which includes its Fanduel subsidiary, alongside her existing position of president.

Ms Howe joined Fanduel in February 2021 from Live Nation Entertainment where she had served as chief operating officer of Ticketmaster.

Mr King will leave the business on July 16th following a short transition period.

Peter Jackson, Flutter chief executive, said Mr King would leave the US business in a position of strength.

“The appointment of Amy, working alongside the wider Fanduel leadership team, will support the key focus on growing the business and retaining our number one position in the US market,” he added.
