Irish firm ClevaMama signs deal to sell products in Russia

Irish company ClevaMama has signed a new deal that will see its products sold in Russia.

The company, which was set up by Dublin sisters Suzanne Browne and Martina Craine, will be working with the Mothercare retail chain in the country, with the products going on sale in May.

ClevaMama products are already sold in China, India, the Middle East, South America, the UK and Europe, with distribution centres in have distribution centres in Dublin, Britain, China and Los Angeles. About 80 per cent of ClevaMama’s sales are exports.

The company also has partnerships with Trinity College Dublin, a venture that yielded the ClevaFoam product that has been proven to help prevent Plagiocephly, also known as flat head syndrome, and Enterprise Ireland Moorepark Research and Innovation Centre.

“Innovation is an integral part of our growth,” Ms Browne said.

The product range will be officially launched next week in Russia, with the sisters hosted by the Irish Ambassador Eoin O’Leary.
