One More Thing: More power to Paddy Power

There's hardly a race around on which Paddy Power wouldn't offer odds and the next American presidential election is no different. But the "Irish bookmaker" extracted a correction and an apology from the Economist over an editorial in which it badly mis-stated the odds it offers on Hillary Clinton's campaign.

“We said that Paddy Power, an Irish bookmaker, gave Mrs Clinton an improbable 91 per cent chance of capturing the White House in 2016. In fact Paddy Power offers much more plausible odds of about 48 per cent. Sorry. We should never have doubted the wisdom of gamblers.”

Those odds on Hillary were improbably improbable. Never mind, it’ll probably never happen again.
