Cybex Europe, the Shannon-based manufacturer of switches and extension products for PCs, accounted for 23 per cent of its US parent's revenue and profits, according to figures released yesterday.

Mr Kieran MacSweeney, president and managing director of Cybex Europe, said the numbers employed at Shannon would rise from 56 to 100 over the next 18 months.
