Mr Paul Reville (52) has resigned as an executive director of First Active. He leaves the former building society after 28 years to develop personal business interests. His resignation follows those of former managing director Mr John Smyth and former deputy managing director Mr Tony Shanahan earlier this year. The trio were the key executives who brought First Active to the stock market. In a statement yesterday, First Active's chairman, Mr John Callaghan, said Mr Reville had made a significant contribution to the firm's development.
