The chief executive of Ryanair has increased his basic salary to £248,000 (€314,000) from £198,000 in the year to March 31st, 1999, according to the group's annual report. Mr Michael O'Leary's performance-related bonus was also increased, to £107,000 from £85,000 .

Mr Ray MacSharry, a non-executive director, received annual compensation of £50,000 plus travel. Mr James Osborne, another non-executive director, received annual compensation of £24,000 plus travel.
