Ryanair has announced plans to introduce 11 new routes in the coming months, taking on both full-service airlines and budget carriers on services to continental Europe.
From April 4th, Ryanair will fly from London Stansted to Rome six times daily, and to Milan four times a day, bringing its total number of destinations in Italy to 12.
Ryanair is offering one-way fares as low as £19 sterling (€31) on these routes, where it will be competing with budget carrier Go.
Ryanair also plans to begin flying from London to Eindhoven in the Netherlands from April. This will be the first time the airline has entered the Dutch market.
