Sales at US computer giant Cisco Systems jumped by two-thirds in the three months to the end of October compared with the same period a year ago. Profit after tax, allowing for one-off expenses, rose by a similar margin to $1.36 billion (€1.36 billion) over the period.
The company, which controls the market for devices which sort information sent on the Internet, employs 50 people in Dublin and plans to open operations in Dublin and Cork.
