Scottish Provident has set up its free nationwide broker training programme for the industry-recognised Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA). Beginning this week, 50 sessions will be held for brokers in Galway, Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Dublin, Donegal and Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan. These will continue until May when students sit an exam, administered by the Life Insurance Association and the Insurance Institute of Ireland.

The training sessions will be given by Scottish Provident's full-time training officer, Mr Nigel Groarke.
