A Wexford man who refused to co-operate with the court was jailed for contempt in Dublin yesterday.

Francis Cullen, a businessman from Clonard, Co Wexford, who was adjudicated a bankrupt in July 2011, was taken to Mountjoy Prison after refusing to answer questions and telling High Court Judge Ms Justice Elizabeth Dunne he didn't recognise her authority.

Official assignee Chris Lehane said Mr Cullen and his brother had been adjudicated bankrupt and while his brother had co-operated with the bankruptcy process, Mr Cullen had refused.
